Underpinning is a structural foundation application where the need to reinforce an existing foundation with a pile system is required. Micropiles are a very effective solution to this application because they can be installed in short lengths where low access or minimal head room is available due to existing structures. Micropiles are also quiet and produce very little vibration allowing them to be installed while the structure is in use.
