Many retaining structures have a significant height from the ground to the top of the wall. This is referred to as the exposed height. Anchor systems are predominantly utilized in retaining wall applications where the combination of significant loading and exposed height make it virtually impossible for the wall alone to meet the design criteria. An anchor system provides the additional support needed for the wall. Whether the application is temporary or permanent, it is just as critical to the design as the wall itself.
